Neat blog! I just came across it today. This topic caught my attention as it is a pet peeve of mine that some people can't get past the idea that they need to see their display through the eyes of their potential customers. The example you commented on sounds like a great example of how to do just that - do something creative to appeal to customers. Sometimes I see people making it super hard to navigate through ones booth (as if it is too cluttered) while others forget to display their work at different heights to ensure people from all different heights can see things (plus it makes for more room to sell more). I do art and craft fairs and in my booth I tend to categorize items into areas with some cross promotion of items as well. It really works. I'm about to read some other posts. If you want, check out my website www.bythebaybotanicals.com (for photos of my booth display)or my blog www.quickcraftartisttips.blogspot.com - I just love helping people, especially if it prevents others from making the same mistakes I have made along the way... Thanks Chris!!
